An ISO-9001 Tool Room

It is a Govt. of India society established under DC(MSME) with the technical and financial cooperation of Government of Federal Republic of Germany.

 

Facilities availables in the Tool Room

The Tool Room is equipped with the latest imported equipments like CAD/CAM and specialised CNC machines like CNC Milling, CNC Copy Milling, CNC EDM-Spark eorison, CNC wirecut, profile grinding, jig boring, jig grinding etc. to provide toolings of international standard at competitive rates.

 

The Tool Room is working with Total Quality Management (TQM) concept and has received ISO-9001 Certification.

Services provided by the Tool Room

A) Tool Design and Production

  1. Design and Manufacture of dies and tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures, gauges and tool components etc.
  2. Computer Aided Design and computer aided Manufacturing (CAD / CAM)
  3. Heat treatment of all types of steels
  4. Quality Control and testing
  5. Resetting, resharpening and maintenance of dies and tools.

B) Training and Consultancy

The institute conducts following long term training Courses.

Age 15-19 Years Min. 60% marks for General category and 50% for reserve category

The Tool Room also conducts several short term training courses for the benefit of

    1. Managers and supervisors to upgrade their knowledge and skill.
    2. Need based technical training for skilled workers/tool makers/machinists etc.
    3. Training in CNC technology.
    4. Training for inspection, quality control testing and maintenance etc.

Boarding and Lodging facilities are available in the Tool Room for the participants.
