The Development Commissioner (MSME) has organized the MSME-EXPO-2009 in Hall No. 7 (A, B, C) at India International Trade Fair (IITF-2009), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) MSME, Sh. Dinsha Patel in the august presence of Sh. Dinesh Rai, Secretary (MSME) and Sh Madhav Lal, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner (MSME). The MSME Expo-2009 will help the MSMEs to showcase their achievements in the global market. During the exhibition 96 stalls have been provided to MSME entrepreneurs to display their exhibits.

     The MSMEs EXPO-2009 has around 100 installs showcasing products from consumer electrical & electronic goods, engineering products, readymade & embroidery items, soft toys, health care, cosmetic and health products, food and allied products, carpets, shawls, home furnishings and made ups, handicrafts and decorative items, gems and jewellery, cotton and silk sarees, plastic household items, handbook printing, jute products, pressure cooker and alumunium utensils, leather bag, fancy bag, Jaipuri rajai, Kashmiri craft.

     The exhibition provides a platform to the MSMEs to showcase the R&D technology, innovations adopted by them. The exhibition has been widely appreciated by all the public.
